Scorpio-X

The Scorpio X is Celestix’s fourth generation appliance hardware and is available in either 1U or 2U form factors. Unlike CD-based security deployments (which generally occur on a general purpose white box), the Scorpio X was specifically designed from the ground up for data center security. Each appliance leveraging the Scorpio X platform inherently features an LCD/jog dial for simple setup, a half-depth unit for effortless rackmounting, high MTBF (due to optimized internal components), gigabit Ethernet ports and support for Intel Dual Core CPU processors.

Pyxis

The Pyxis is Celestix’s latest new security appliance platform based on Intel 3210 chipsets, and is available in either 1U or 2U form factors. Pyxis sets the new standard for price/performance benchmark in its class. It features support for PCI Express, 15,000 rpm SAS hard drives or SATA-II hard drives, and provides up to 4-core (two Intel Xeon Dual Core processors) computing horsepower. Each appliance leveraging the Celestix security platform inherently features an LCD/jog dial for simple setup and headless operation, compact appliance footprint for effortless rackmounting, high MTBF (due to optimized internal components), gigabit Ethernet ports and dual power supply redundancy (2U only).

Hydrus

The Hydrus is Celestix’s latest appliance hardware based on Intel 5100P chipsets, and is available in 2U form factors. Hydrus sets the new standard for price/performance benchmark in its class. It features support for PCI Express, 15,000 rpm SAS hard drives and provides up to 8-core (two Intel Xeon Quad Core processors) computing horsepower. Each appliance leveraging the Celestix security platform inherently features an LCD/jog dial for simple setup and headless operation, compact 2U footprint for effortless rackmounting, high MTBF (due to optimized internal components), gigabit Ethernet ports and dual power supply redundancy.

Software Platform (SlingSHOT)
Celestix maintains a library of components that can be integrated into Celestix channel products or in conjunction with third-party OEMs called SlingSHOT. This software appliance engine is based on the Microsoft Windows platform and provides features such as software updates, network interface configuration, installation via a quick setup wizard, reporting and high availability. In addition, Celestix provides mechanisms to restore each appliance to a factory default state or last good version to facilitate disaster recovery.
